Growing up in Texas the Texas Rat Snake has fascinated me from a young age. I maintain a large and very diverse collection of Texas rats, and many can be found nowhere else.
Wild type Texas Rat exhibiting classic pattern and colors. This specific specimen is het Leucistic and one of my permanent breeders.
Anerythristic Texas Rat. These are impressive with a complete lack of all red and yellow pigments. This specific specimen is het Leucistic and one of my permanent breeders.
Orange Texas Rat. This guy is a wild caught very high orange almost hypo looking animal. I have not completely worked out the genetics on this one but looking forward to future breedings with him
Lavender Albino Texas Rat. These are beautiful adults exhibiting many soft pastel colors.
Hypo-E ?? Texas Rat. This particular animal was caught in North Texas and exhibits what looks to me a Hypoerythristic trait. This animal is almost completley void of all color pigment and appears at first glance to be Anerythristic, however she does exhibit a few patches of yellow and red pigment.
